After update 4.1.1 does not start

Hi all,

I just updated LibreOffice via PortableApps Platform to Version 4.1.1

It does not start any more. Taskmanager shows a task for some seconds, thats all, no splash screen.

I used "German" language settings. I hope you can fix this. If I can help with any more information feel free to contact me, please.

(I stepped back to 4.1.0.4 as fallback)

Greetings from Germany

Sebastian

Again

Today I installed 4.1.2 via platform - again the same. LibreOffice does not start. LibreOfficePortable appears for some seconds in task manager and thats all. (Fallback to 4.1.1.2 again with no problems - thanks to all mirrors who handle old files!)

Clean install

Does it work if you install a new copy of the latest LibreOffice into a different folder (for exmaple C:) and run it from there? Just to make sure its running as a clean install on your PC.

Download a copy of the installer, manually run it (not via the platform) and point it to C:\.

No clean install

Hi Simeon,

I have already tested clean install via platform software and as manual download. Both do not work.

Greetings, Sebastian

Remove

Did you set it to remove languages? What operating system are you on? What is the full install path to the LibreOfficePortable directory?

More options

Remove languages yes
Windows 7 Pro
c:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable

Remove languages option is a good idea, I tried a new installation without this option. To no avail. Sorry.
