It cannot update from previous version of TeamViewer version 8.0.22298. Manual update by downloading TeamViewerPortable_8.0.22298.paf.exe shows version is 8.0.20935.

I just updated TeamViewer using the PA.c Platform and downloaded the installer directly from TeamViewer and installed it. Both work fine and both show 8.0.22298 as the version.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
