I am already using KeePass Portable on my PC and Laptop and I synchronize only the databases between them.
Now I have a new Windows phone (Nokias Lumia 925) and I also want to use my current saved passwords from this application.
But how I can install KeePass Portable on my Windows phone?
And how it is possible to synchronize the databases?
Any ideas?
As far as I know, currently you can't.
Standard Windows apps don't run on the Windows Phone OS as it is a very different operating system despite the similar name.
There is a port of KeePass for Windows Phone 7 called 7Pass, but your phone runs WP8 I believe. They are planning a port for WP8, but it hasn't been released yet.
Thanks for this information.
I found the 7Pass in the Windows App Store.
May be it is possible to install it on the phone.
But how can I synchronize the entries from KeePass Portable from my PC to 7Pass?
Do you know it?
I know 7Pass supports Dropbox and Box.net integration of some kind. Beyond that I have no idea.
Thanks!
I will try to use 7Pass and gain experiences with it.
There is an other App WinKee. It reads locally on the phone stored KeePass2 files. So you don't need an Internet connection to a cloud service.
As I know 7Pass can't do that, but I might be wrong.
