Skype Portable not remembering password when Windows loads

I've just installed PortableApps and installed Skype from that.

Is this window normal? The Skype logo is not showing and when I move the mouse over the "Sign me in when Skype starts" link nothing happens so I can't click that link.

Anyway when I sign in I can close Skype from the tray. When I load it again it logs in automatically. However when I restart Windows it asks me to sign in and none of the details are prefilled.

I had the same problem in the above paragraph with the latest non-portable official Skype installation.
