PortableApps.comLauncherGenerator.exe reports v1.0.0.0 even though it's actually v2.2.0.0.
This is unlike PortableApps.comInstaller.exe which reports the correct version.
It makes it hard to check whether I have the newest version.

If you use the PortableApps Platform, hover over the entry in the list of apps and it will tell you eg. "PortableApps.com Launcher 2.2", otherwise use the appinfo.ini.
The file you've checked there is used to generate a launcher using the PortableApps.com Launcher, which is really the files found in PortableApps.comLauncher\Other\Source, not actually the exe itself. That's why the file version is 1.0 - it's version 1.0 of that exe, not of PAL.
PAL is currently at version 2.2, with development sitting at version 3.0 in the Mercurial repository.
That's not an official release and not published by PortableApps.com. Please report any bugs in its dev test post in the forum.

I believe this may be a case of mistaken identity. The file in question is the launcher for PAL, as shown in a fresh install of PAL here.
I think I know what you're referring to, John, but can't find the relevant dev test thread.
