Hi PuTTY / PortableApps Experts,
Last week I had an issue when trying to open PuTTY Portable.
The "welcome" screen appeared them a window saying that another instance of putty wasn't closed correctly.
I tried to eject / plug the usb pen drive, but the same error occurred again.
Them it came to my mind that, a few days ago I added putty to my favorites in the PA platform.
After I removed putty from favorites it started again!
Don't know if it's a app problem or a platform problem, and I hadn't time to test if that happens to other apps.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you a feedback, if anyone have the same issue... it might work...

Adding the app to favorites in the platform doesn't change anything about how the app is launched. It just moves it up the list.
Try launching it to ensure it runs properly. Then fully close it. Then make it a favorite in the platform. Then run it again. It should be fine.
The only time you'll see that not closed entry is if you ejected your drive, shutdown windows or let windows hibernate with a USB drive plugged in (hint, this is the same as an unsafe eject in Windows land).
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I may have restarted my PC, but after that I ejected properly and plugged again, and it kept showing the same message...
it only solved when I removed from favorites (don't remember if I missed some step between those above..)
Nevertheless, as soon as I test it I'll let you know the results!
