Chrome a while ago had an update that added special C-Apps that run in a separate window. Neat but it also means that it adds an App Launcher shortcut to the desktop. I just deleted it, but there may be more that it did. I don't have the tools or knowhow to check. Anyone willing to help?

Any 'apps' you install via Google Chrome are designed to be installed locally. They should not be used with Google Chrome Portable.

What if I uninstall it, then Chrome Sync to a copy of Chrome that does use it? Does it put another copy of the app on my friend's computer?
