PortableApps on Windows based thin client laptop

Hello,

I was curious if the portable apps version of Firefox, Chrome, or Opera will run stored on a flash drive and attached to a Dell Wyse thin client laptop with the Windows Embedded Standard 2009 platform?

Thanks,
RG

Try it

Fastest way to find out, buy a small inexpensive flash drive and try it.

Let us know your results.

I assume it would

I assume it would work.

Embedded Standard 2009 is an update on XP Embedded, which, according to wikipedia

provides the full Windows API, and support for the full range of applications and device drivers written for Microsoft Windows.

Try it soon

Hi,

Thanks for you comments. I don't yet have access to the Dell Wyse thin clients but will soon. I was just hoping someone already knew as I am thinking of a development strategy for a disconnected mobile app using the thin client.
