12 Beta 2 - File Associations?

Downloaded 12B2 to see how the platform looked, but couldn't see file associations anywhere. Two questions Angel Are File Associations in this beta release? (b) If they are, how are they activated?

...the changelog and feature tracker. File Associations due in an upcoming release.
