I use TB portable. Recently, it seems that if I sent an emal from a FireFox link, the Compose window stays open and shows 100% sent. The message is in the Sent folder, but the Compose window stays active. If I send another email directly from TB, it seems to "flush" it through.
I've been experimenting with a suite of Open Source, Portable Apps on a flashdrive. Sometimes I move them to a PC, run them, then move them back. Then maybe to another PC. This open Compose window has happened rather recently. I can't link it to any specific changes.
Thanks, I've used these forums alot to get me going on this. I'm sticking with it and learning alot.
I have the exact same problem. Actually it happens with most e-mails, no matter if I reply to an e-mail or compose it from scratch.
Sending seems to work as the mail gets moved into my local "Sent" folder. But the compose window stays open and I get a "100% complete" status-window.
I only have IMAP accounts so I can't check if it might not happen on POP3 but deleting the *.msf Files didn't fix the problem.
Any idea?
FYI: This happend on TB1.5 and TB 2.0b2.
Thanks in advance!

Do you have a firewall?
I just remembered having problems with sending emails with Sygate Personal Firewall.
I had to switch it to "allow all" to get my emails passed successfully.

No there is no personal firewall installed and whats very interesting: I'm using PTB with my company's notebook. There is a thunderbird installed and I copied all the settings to my Portable-Version of thunderbird. But the problem stays the same.
It does not happen to the installed version of thunderbird though (and of course I don't use both thunderbird versions at the same time)
Hope we can solve the problem, cause it happens with PTB2.0B2 too.
cheers!
