Other: I have asked if it would be ok for Winyl to be apart of Portableapps and was told they have no objection to this
forum post about that is here http://vinylsoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=8481.msg9274#new

Winyl can be made to run in portable mode (saves all data to it's app folder) by using the switch winyl.exe -p, also version 3.0 will support relative paths.

I have tried to package Winyl as best I can with the portableapp.com launcher and installer but as I have limited knowledge of how to fully make a proper portableapps.com setup it lacks the polish and final touches are needed and I most likely have missed some things. I would be happy to give a link to my incomplete work if that helps.

Thank you for your time.

Portable Version on website

The new version of Winyl now also has a portable version.

Maybe handy to make a PortableApps version based on that one.
