Hallo there,
I am using KeePass Portable in version 1.26 on two of my computers (Win 7 Home Premium x86 and Win 7 Prof. x64) and I also have run it successfully on other machines from USB stick (Win7 as well as WIn XP). Now I am facing a problem where on other particular Win 7 Home Premium system I can't get KeePass working. No matter whether I run a new, virgin installation or try to start a copy of my installation from home, it always terminates with a message box saying "An unsupported operation was attempted".
The same happens with a local installation of KeePass in the normal, non-portable version.
It also happens independent from the user running the application. Even starting the application as admin leads to the same behaviour.
Up to now I couldn't find out what the reason might be, nor could I find information elsewhere that allowed me to solve this problem.
Is there anybody out there in the PortableApps world who knows about this problem and/or knows how to get around it ?
Many thanks in advance. Any hint will be appreciated.
Maybe it uses a cpu instruction that isn't supported by the cpu or it's supported only under Service Pack 1?
As it's also happening on the non portable version of the app, I suggest you to post on the KeePass forums/message boards to help find the problem.
They know about their program, portableapps simply makes the program portable.
Yes, I set the working directory!
I will try the KeePass non-portbale guys.
I'm the fastest! While other people still slide, I'm already on the ground
