Last Year

I added it in last year. got the idea from vlc. I added a couple more holidays as well (new year, valentines). not sure if that's just my internal release or not. they are disable able as well though can't recall the setting at the moment. I was going for relatively worldwide ones by default that are easy to calculate and considering the ability to add specific packs for your religion, culture and/or country.

glad you like it. it was a quick I hoped would make people smile. Smile

good morning.

good morning.
i have been using portableapps for a very long time and express my sincere gratitude for the great work that makes life easier when working with ms windows.
and yet there is one small request.
the fact is that such types red hats or something are not associated in our country with new year or christmas.
we also do not have most other north american holidays and do not knows about.
if ever an option appears that allows to disable the holiday attributes, i think many users from other countries would be happy.
anyway thanks a lot.

You can click on any decoration to hide it. It will stay hidden until next start.

The holidays are a mix of several international cultural holidays including: New Years, Lunar New Year, Christmas, Halloween, Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, Eid al-Fitr, and Diwali.

At some point in the future there will be a menu option to turn them off.
