FileZilla: Settings aren't imported?

Hello,

In my regular FileZilla I exported the settings to I think an XML file? Then I tried to import those settings to FileZilla on my USB stick, but the settings don't seem to be there. Any help?

Thanks.

XML File

Drop the XML file into the FileZillaPortable\App\filezilla directory and then fire up FileZilla. That should do it.

OK, I just tried that, and I don't see anything there either. What I was expecting to see was all the sites I had set up in FileZilla, in the Site Manager. Is that right?

Yes

Actually, I'm not sure if export is right. Usually, you copy the filezilla.xml file from your FileZilla directory (C:\Program Files\FileZilla\ on most systems) to the location I just mentioned. That's what I do. If you export the settings from the local, it may produce a different file layout. Importing them in FileZilla Portable should work.

PS - You may need to be sure you have the same version of FileZilla on your PC, I believe.

OK, so actually, I don't

OK, so actually, I don't have the same versions, but it seems to work now the way you mentioned, actually copying the file instead of export/import.

Thanks!
