OpenOffice – Is their a faster way to install Add On's

OpenOffice – Is their a faster way to install Add On's other than the 'Tools > Extension Manager' method; could one possibly write a script or something of that nature?
Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Also I experience slow performance, however NOT AS SLOW AS LIBRE Office any one have any idea's?
Thank You!

Very Old

The version of OpenOffice we have is a very old version. It's nowhere near as advanced as modern ones so it will be faster. It shouldn't be used any longer, though. We supported it right up until Oracle bought it and screwed everyone over (at which point OpenOffice completely died and all the developers left to form LibreOffice).

We may do a new version shortly. Until then, use LibreOffice Portable as it is far superior.

As to your other post, this old version of OpenOffice doesn't support modern Java either.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
