Nimi Places

Hi,

I found this program some time ago and it's a really helpful to organize your desktop. It's similar to the program "fences"; It creates some kind of containers on your desktop to organize all your files. I thought that maybe somebody could do a portable edition, because my programming skills are quite bad Sad . As far as I know it's already quite portable. The only problem could be that the license is not really Open Source, but Freeware. But maybe someone could ask the developers for an allowance.

Here is what I found about the license:

"2) LIMITATIONS

Angel No Reverse Engineering. you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify.
(b) No Separation of Components. THIS APPLICATION is licensed as a single product. COMPONENT PARTS may not be separated, nor otherwise used separately from the other parts.
(c) Free for NON-COMMERCIAL USE. THIS APPLICATION is only for NON-COMMERCIAL USE.
(d) APPLICATION distribution requires APPLICATION PROVIDER authorization.
(e) APPLICATION and APPLICATION PROVIDER are not responsible for ANY INFORMATION from and - including but limited to - action of THIRD PARTY."

I would be very glad to have it as a portableapps.com application one day! Smile

What do you think?
