Ok, I would like an installer for portable Putty. I know it is actually portable already, but how do I make it show up in that nift start menu?

Make a folder inside PortableApps and stick putty.exe in there.
To make it appear better in the menu, rename it to PuTTY.exe so it's labeled better.

PortaPutty is what you're looking for. The regular release of Putty may or may not store its application settings locally, while PortaPutty will store them in your application directory.
