PortableApps.com and The Document Foundation are proud to announce the release of LibreOffice Portable 4.2.0. LibreOffice Portable is a full-featured office suite -- including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing package and database -- packaged as a portable app, so you can take all your documents and office suite wherever you go. This release updates LibreOffice to the latest version. And it installs in as little as 250MB. The legacy 4.0.6 version is also available. You can also buy it on the PortableApps.com Carbide: The Safest, Most Secure USB Flash Drive on Earth. LibreOffice Portable is packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Comments
Not starting
After updating to LibreOffice Portable 4.2.0, even after restarting my PC, it reads:
Another instance of LibreOffice is already running. Please close other instances of LibreOffice before launching LibreOffice Portable.
Some bug?
soffice.exe
This will only happen if soffice.exe is running somewhere on your system. This can easily happen if you have either LibreOffice or OpenOffice installed locally and installed QuickStarter (selected by default) causing it to run in the background at every Windows startup down in the system tray. You'll see it in Task Manager if you check and select to show all processes. If that is not the case, please open a bug report.
