Chrome 32 Issue registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Chrome.exe

Hi, my issue is I ran a portable version of chrome, while I had the Chrome 32 installed for all users on windows 8.1, chrome 32 Version 32.0.1700.107 m. I was revising some registry of the portable version because it was causing me problems since it was running and my external drive caused me problem continue running And forgot to stop the process of Chrome portable while removing the drive. I accidentally deleted this folder: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\chrome.exe.

So, now I don't know if this will affect my current installation. I fixed the issue I had which was the available apps in "open with" showed 2 Google chrome. So is there any issue I could have by accidentally deleted the folder I mentioned from the registry? Or it was from the portable google chrome? I re-installed my administrator google chrome software but the folder doesn't appears on the registry again. Am I safe to go, or I should re-install windows? Thanks very much if someone can help.
