I use Remote Administrator Viewer for all of my clients (RADMIN). I would like to find a way to make this portable, that way the settings for all my clients are always with me.
I don't want the server side software to be portable, just the viewer.

It doesn't have to be under the GPL. So many people mess this up. GPL/LGPL is preferred, but the way John makes apps portable doesn't require modification of the actual program. Redistribution of the program requires permission from the author (GPL gives permission to the public to redistribute). If John or whoever develops a launcher doesn't get permission, than he/she can only distribute the launcher, and the users must get the program from the author.
But, yes, Linky would be good.

Does it use VNC? There are portable VNC viewers around?
Remote Administrator (Radmin) 2.2

it is a vnc like software, for various reasons i cannot get into, we do not and will not vnc.
Radmin works fine portably.
You just need to import/export its registry entries.
I use PStarts on start and on exit options for this.
Check famtechs support forums for the location of the registry settings.

i have the registry info, i just can't find any information on what to do with it now? regarding pstart
If you download the 3.0 Beta 2 version it works even better as there is no need to import/export registry since the 3.0 version uses a phb file to store connection the machine list in rather than registry.
