Since the latest Chrome update I can't get Texter Portable to recognise any hotstrings entered in form input fields. I have tried all the different permissible triggers. Prior to the Chrome update it all worked fine. Is anyone else having the same problem, and does anyone have any possible remedy?
I just tried doing b b l (space), as defined in Texter Portable to replace with 'be back later', in the search box on PortableApps.com within Google Chrome Portable and it worked as expected.

OK, thanks for that - perhaps something else is interfering with it. I'll take another look!
It seems to be working in some places but not in others. For instance, I can get it to work in the PortableApps search bar too. But ... it no longer works in the comments field of the Paypal payment request form, and it no longer works in Facebook and it no longer works in the compose window of Google Mail web interface.
I just fired it up in Gmail and it's working there, too. Not sure what could be interfering in your case as I don't have too much experience with Texter, but it doesn't appear to affect everything. I'm on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate as well if that helps.

Seems to be OK on my work computer. It must be something else interfering on my home PC. I guess this ticket can be closed. Thanks very much for your help.
I guess it may just be me. I'll try it on the work computer tomorrow.
