Super cookie?

As of Version 2.0 Firefox seems to have implemented some new kind of supper-cookie which is enabled by default and able to store more info than the usual cookies. It can be switched off in the about:config only (dom.storage.enabled to "false").

Maybe it would be a good idea to disable it in the portable version by default due to privacy reasons?

Its the session-restore-feature

see
http://www.firefox-browser.de/wiki/Session_Storage (in german)
or
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dom.storage.enabled (in english)

I think it could be disabled due to usb-disk-life-enlargement and privacy reasons.

Well the session storage

Well the session storage function is NOT the session restore feature but some kind of add-on to cookies and actaully dealing with the handling of privacy infos.
