Hi,
a nice U3 Tool I have not found as an normal portable App is "SignupShield". Does anyone know if there is a "normal portable Version" or similar tool everyone can use with PortableAppsMenu?
A perhaps similar Tool can be found here: http://zeraha.org/dload.php?action=file&file_id=42 but it does not seem to be portable and maybe SignupShield is even better?!

how about giving us a link to the actual SignupShield homepage? I've never heard of it and most of us won't go out of our way to find it... Also, is it open source?
SignupShield is available as a standard portable app from their homepage. Just download the zip file and create a folder called SignupShield within your PortableApps directory and it will automatically show up in your menu, too. When starting it up, it'll ask what you want to use it with browser-wise. Uncheck IE. Check Firefox and then select Firefox Portable.

Thanks for the fast an helpful answert. Everything is as you said but unfortunately it wants to select the firefox.exe and seems it only allows exactly this spelling (firefox.exe and nothing else)

just deleted U3 ... now Using PortableAppsMenu and Various Portable-Tools
You select firefox.exe within the PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox directory and it'll work.

I was holding to U3 recently for dear life because I used SignupShield on my U3 drive. I switched over to Roboform. Now I can use both and have 20 free password saves!
BTW - You do not want to create a folder for SignupShield within the PortableApps directory. When you extract the zip file it is already in a folder. You simply extract to or copy and paste the folder to PortableApps folder. Slight difference, but I don't think the PAM would find the .exe for Signupshield if it is two levels down in the structure.
