Hi,
I was wondering if there was any way to password protect before loging on to Filezilla. Like in Thunderbird you have to enter a password to collect your email. Filezilla is different because unlike Thunderbird where you can enter 1 main password to access all your email accounts in Filezilla you have to enter for each FTP account and I run alot of websites so I will have to remember like 50 FTP logins instead of 1 main 1?
I tried finding a program to password protect the folder inside the usb HD i have as an alternative but it seems that when i take it into a public terminal it doesn't work because I need admin rights to use the password programs and unlock the folder.
HELP!
Are looking for is an encryption program to encrypt files or folders?
Most encryption programs do require admin access.

Hi wsm23,
I just need to be able to password protect a folder that will have the sensitive info without compressing it like a zip file. Im not looking to encrypt the drive because I know that will require admin rights to access if I take it to a different computer.
Thanks
You either wrap it up into something encrypted and have a password on that. Or you leave it open. There's no other option.
