my inbox file is 100 meg on my usb drive. when i add all the email messages up in my entire email account its under 1 meg. I have compacted and still the same size.
any ideas?
i recently downloaded a good deal of email probly 400 megs worth but deleted and compacted. why is my inbox so bloated.
as a test i tried zip-ing it up to see what the results were.. 50k
so something definitely seems wrong.

Occasionally has issues along those lines. Be sure you are running a File - Compact Folders with the Local Folders root selected.
