Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if anyone can suggest a portable app that will allow me to track down high disk usage. Esssentially what I'm looking for is an alternative to JDiskReport.
Ive come across http://windirstat.info/ but its horribly ugly by comparison. I know there are some out there coz I came across them a while back but dismissed them because I was using disk report and never thought Id need an alternative. Well there ye go

There's Sysinternals' DiskView. I think this is what you are looking for.

Make sure you have a USB2.0 or better connection, though. It became quite unresponsive when I used it with a USB1.1 connection.
Vintage!
Another good one is Scanner. It breaks down each drive using a circular chart showing which directories and sub-directories use the most disk space.

Best I have found is i.Disk (http://memecode.com/idisk.php). Freeware, but not Open Source. No registry usage, all files are in application folder. Fast, small (450 kb UPX compressed). By default, it sorts by largest folders on top.
See screen capture here http://memecode.com/images/idisk/win32/1.png
a nice single file program that displays via bar graph
