Kaspersky TDSSKiller Not Being Updated?

Kaspersky TDSSKiller is recommending that I load the update when I launch the version that is currently installed in my PortableApps menu. Is this no longer being updated or maintained for the PortableApps suite?

If so is there a way for someone to take over this task?

Blame Kaspersky

It's current according to Kaspersky. According to their site, it was last updated in November 13, 2013. We automatically monitor that page for changes to the date. Unfortunately, it seems that Kaspersky isn't bothering to update the site anymore, so we have no idea when a new version is released. The only way we can know is when someone tells us. As you have, I have investigated, and it was last updated on April 29th, so a new release has been packaged and is mirroring to our download servers now.

If you'd prefer a better solution, use McAfee's tool which they update weekly and properly post about.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thank you

Thank you, the update came through.
I use McAfee's tool as well but TDSSKiller has been a great little tool for a quick scan to check specifically for rootkits.

McAfee's tool is great for a full system scan when needed.

Thank you again.
