.ora file type addition to PAF

John,

I suggest adding .ora to the list as a recognized filetype, showing as an image. It is an open replacement for .psd. See here for further info.

Enough Use?

I'd never heard of it before now. Is it actively being used? Does GIMP have complete or partial support?

I hadn't either

To be honest, I hadn't heard of it either, until I started working on making Krita portable.

However, it looks like GIMP has complete support for the format, since 2.8.

XnView supports it, as does LazPaint.

Scribus has it implemented for the next major release also.

Interestingly enough, Inkscape does not have it implemented yet.

We have some dev tests that support it as well, such as MyPaint & Krita (once I get it posted Wink )

No skin off my back either way, but figured I'd mention it.

Added

In that case, I think it makes sense for us to add it. It if helps it gain even a little traction, so much the better. It's been added to the spec.
