Hi folks,
I have multiple copies of several apps, each with different folders/configs, e.g.
C:PortableApps/Firefox v1
C:PortableApps/Firefox v2
I do want to keep these as entirely separate apps rather than just adding a new profile into, say, the Firefox v1 folder.
To date, I have been updating these manually as from what I could see, the PortableApps.com Platform only updates a single instance of each app.
Am I missing something? Is it possible to update multiple instances of the same app? If so, how?

Currently you can not. There are provisions built into the PA.c Installer to allow the platform to do it in a future release but the work is not complete yet.
If the only difference is having an entirely independent profiles in separate directories, I would suggest using the 2nd Profile utility. That will cause a 2nd profile with a 2nd icon in the PA.c Platform to be visible but still use the same copy of Firefox inside the main Firefox Portable.

It's not. I have several apps that really are completely separate instances in separate folders and I would like to keep it that way.
