Yes I am sure I downloaded from portableapps.com. Is it possible another program add the malware during the installation?
Anyway I use several portable installations of the same browser depending the argument, I will re download the app, re istall and re scan and I will confirm you what willa happens.

The Portable Maxthon comes with two identical icons on the sidebar linked to a on line game site. Probably the malware was injected visiting this site and downloading a 3D player. Take a look please and erase the links on the sidebar.
