The programs available for consumer can be divided into three main categories, freeware, shareware, or trial-ware/paid-ware. Therefore, I was wandering is it possible to create a thread for launchers only. So that we in the community can share launchers for the trial-ware/paid-ware programs, without violating other stuff.

The Beta Testing forums serve this purpose. I don't think it's necessary to start another section just for launcher-only applications. Anyway, I look forward to what you'll produce!
Then what about having a pined topics like "Launchers: Online" & "Launchers: From Installed". This way people can post links for their launchers "node/xxxx" in one place.
Also, a few additions to posting format for those launchers might appropriate i.e. add or replace the following:
AppName:
AppVersion:
AppWebsite:
LauncherVersion:
Category:
This will allow for Launchers to be improved while the app stays the same.
P.S.: For "Launchers: From Installed" it will copy programs which user wants to portablise (reg entries, directories, & files needed) from user own system and make it portable.

Keep it simple and stick to the current format: one post per developer per app launcher.
Otherwise you are just asking for a support nightmare once you have more than a couple of apps/versions in the same thread.
Posting format additions
They are already there, most of them in the title eg. MyApp Portable 1.2.3 Development Test 45.
This covers the app name, app version and launcher version. The category and app website are also a part of the Development Test Template.
