Hello,
I am unable to update the platform when it is moved to a folder, I mean when is not at the root
Perhaps my config file is broken, please can you put me on the track to resolve the path.
Edit;
Sorry I have not been clear. Is it possible to rename PortableApps folder into something else, in the example here MyApps
Documents PortableApps \---PortableApps.com \---PortableAppsPlatform.exe +---App +---Data +---Other \---FirefoxPortable \---App \---Data \---Other \---FirefoxPortable.exe Autorun.inf Start.exe
to
Documents MyApps \---PortableApps.com \---PortableAppsPlatform.exe ...
that folder1 is the hard drives Program folder?
As that will definitely not work as the Platform has that disabled as many of the apps will not work properly if placed there Take a look here

Thanks for the reply, but I am not talking about %PROGRAMFILES%
I just moved all the contents of the key to another folder with a depth of one level. And the name of the file does not contain spaces.
There is a procedure to do this?
When the platform needs to be upgraded, the installer won't be able to properly upgrade it. It need to be as PortableApps\PortableApps.com
You can contain those within another folder if you want, like MyApps\PortableApps\PortableApps.com. We recommend keeping the PortableApps directory in the root of a portable drive that way all portable installers can automatically find it.

Hi John, thanks for the reply.
There is any hack or tricks to do this? (hexa edit hardcoded, or something?)
Or can you just change this behavior so that the program detects its own relative path or allow us to enter in the settings correct paths?
There's no plan to do this at present as there's no real need to. PortableApps is essentially equivalent to Program Files and renaming it gets messy. As mentioned, you can enclose it in a custom directory if you want, but the PortableApps and PortableApps.com names can't be changed.
