Is there a way to sort the message filters without moving each one individually? I'm trying to sort mine alphabetically, but it's a long list. I was hoping there is a way to sort them eg:like an excel spreadsheet.

I don't think so. I think it's just order entered. TB does that with a few things. Check the TB FAQs and then ask at mozillaZine.org.
