Hi,
12.0.5 has a feature as you say: "adds the ability to optionally add the platform to your PC's start menu/tiles". How to enable this feature?

It's an option on the last page of the installer. You can optionally create a shortcut in your Start Menu/Tiles and/or have the platform automatically start with Windows. If you're upgrading, you won't see it.
If you manually download and run the installer, you can reinstall over itself and use the options on the last page. In a later release, I'll add the ability to do this within the platform itself.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
