I created an own theme based on the default one. I also assigned new icons to the categories which i renamed before.
Now the problem: the icon of the 10th category looks wired although it`s the same icon like for all the other categories. If i take another icon and give it the same name like the category has, it`s the same. No matter which name the category has or which icon i assign...this one always has no alpha and seems to be stretched.

You have the wrong size PNG file set for that custom category. That particular icon isn't set to stretch proportionally. If you set to a 16x16 png as it expects, it will show properly. We'll be switching the settings on the icons in an upcoming release anyway as we better handle higher DPI settings.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thx for the hint, size of the png was the problem (25x50).
Changed it to 16x16 and now it looks great
Was only wondering why the same file was displayed correct on all other categories except the 10th one.
