I've tried to use Google Chrome Portable at work. But it's impossible to open a website. On the PC is installed the OS Windows 7 Professional.

That may be due to a corporate firewall.
In the first moment I've also thought about such a reason. But if so, why it's possible, that I can open websites with the Firefox Portable on the same PC? Insofar I assume, that here is responsible an other reason for this issue.
Chrome will use the proxy settings of Windows. Firefox may not.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
