I have Google Drive installed but the installer does not find/recognize it. Is there a way to tell it where it is?

which installer and why it should find your google drive?

You're referring to the platform installer, correct? If so, it should find it but only if Google Drive is installed to the default location. Specifically %USERPROFILE%\Google Drive, which usually maps to something similar to C:\Users\YourUsername\Google Drive.
If you're referring to the app installers, they won't search locations like that. You're best installing official apps from the platform's built-in app store and running secondary installers via the Install a New App function in the platform. That way all the paths are handled automatically.
