PicPick 4.0.3 / 4.0.2 text editor won't remember Fill or color

Seems I'd have noticed something this annoying in earlier versions.
In same screen shot, adding multiple text boxes, PicPick doesn't remember the last choice for Solid Fill / No Fill. And every time I add a new text box, it ignores the currently selected background color, on the main toolbar.

But the text editor does remember font color selected (from text editor UI).
If I add 5 - 10 notes - one screen, on every one must re-select "Solid Fill" & R-click on toolbar's color palate, for the background color to use in text boxes... the same text box background color that I've used the last 200 times.

Unless these 2 issues are working for others, seems like a huge waste of time.
Enough, where if can't / won't be fixed, I may look elsewhere - when need to enter text on screens.
