I have been searching high and low for a portable, simple, straightforward Win32 image viewer. I have found many that will catalog every image on my drive and some that will put them all into pretty spirals and shapes.
The application that I am searching for will not catalog and it will not scroll to the next picture in a specific directory tree or even show that other trees exist at all. I would like to be able to click on a single image file and have that image appear on the screen.
It would be outstanding if most of the major image formats were included. JPG, GIF, PNG, APNG, etc. (I do understand that the APNG format is unlikely for now but I still have hopes of finding it someday; Grainy animated GIF files do not make for remarkable presentations.)
And so to recap, what I want is a point and click image viewer that will display the single file that I choose and no others.
