Yes, that footer. I have a poor sight and I use a great zoom. When I move to see that footer, it covers my entire screen. And that big black aria induces (at least to me) a sad feeling. The list with new and updated software was much more pleasant in the original design. But my taste may not count. My best wishes.

I would find it quite relaxing (for my eyes) if the site offered that as an alternate, dark style (across the whole page, on all pages).
