Can you get disk access to work so it shows up as a drive letter in Explorer? Can you then move other files onto and off of your drive? Can you install the suite? Can you launch the apps individually? Do you see any errors?
Reminder: The more information you provide in your initial question, the less we need to ask about to get to the root of your issue.

I can but is it supposed to be able to launch from the ipod or just from the computer
and i cant disconnect my ipod when i am done using the apps
You have to use the eject button in iTunes if iTunes is installed. And be sure to exit all your apps including the Menu and leave enough time for them to close before ejecting or you won't be able to eject. Firefox 2.0 is a bit buggy and may still be running after you close it if it was updating the Anti-phishing list when you closed it. Check task manager to be sure.
