are buggy and lead to crash
the launcher is twice in memory
DTaskManager will reside in memory even when crashed .. needs to restart PC with strg-alt-del ..

Although I don't have the same trouble you report with DTaskMan PA users are spoiled for choice with a number of other excellent task managers to choose from so it is best to just move on, my personal preference is Process Hacker but I have the others to hand when needed and Win8.1's native task manager is pretty good too.
