Hello,
I'm looking for an easy to use portable Offline-Browser. The only one I've found is portableWinHTTrack. But the link to this program is often not working (via portablefreeware.com). And it's missing a upward link filter (follow or ignore).
In order to get a manual I ran it with http://www.httrack.com/html/index.html extern filter set to 0.
Before aborting I got lots of extern sites:
forum.httrack.com
gailly.net
hts-cache
httrack.kauler.com
java.sun.com
pobox.com
www.alumni.caltech.edu
www.ddj.com
www.faqs.org
www.gnu.org
www.gzip.org
www.httrack.com
www.ietf.org
www.kb.cert.org
www.libpng.org
www.pkware.com
www.zlib.net
backblue.gif
cookies.txt
fade.gif
hts-log.txt
index.html
It would be great, if someone could make a portable version of "Getleft" (http://personal1.iddeo.es/andresgarci/getleft/english/).
In the german magazine com! 1/2007 it is the number 30 of the best 100 Programs 2007 (reader's choice).
I've mailed to the autor Andres Garcia (fandom@telefonica.net)
and he found a portableGetleft an interesting idea.

Recently I got a message that the author of Getleft (http://personal1.iddeo.es/andresgarci/getleft/english/) is about to release a GetlefToGo!
