You can't

If it's encrypted, there is no way to recover it. That's the point of encryption (it's secure). Did it ask you to enter and verify a password when you encrypt? If not, is it possible you made a typo? Or had caps lock on?

You did back up the directory to your home PC with PortableApps Backup right?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

If someone in this forum

If someone in this forum COULD tell you how to bypass the password or encryption IT must not be very good.

If someone in this forum WOULD tell you how to bypass the password or encryption THEY must not be very good.

I would say contact the program maker for possible solutions they might be willing to share.

I would hope no one would reveal this kind of information in a public forum.
Private e-mail perhaps?

p.s. Don't experiment with important things.
p.p.s. Good luck, and I really do mean that!

In trouble

I understand the dialema...only that I am in a bigger one!

If the program maker is reading this, please contact me !

I dont have a backup because I didnt expect the Yadabyte to delete all the files after encrypting them!!

Yadabyte encrypted files

I have played around with this program and found if the file size get large like 2GB you can not decrypt the file. It comes back with some error. What is your file size? This maybe your problem. I also have noticed that Yadabyte Disk on their web site has been Temporarily unavailable for a very long time. They have a support but do not know how good it is because I have never used it.
