MobileApps

I just discovered Mobile Apps
Looks very much like PAM but requires .NET Framework so I couldn't test it.
Are PAM and MobileApps related in some way?

No relation / Doesn't Work / Copyright Violation

There's no relation at all.

The app doesn't work even with .net installed.

It's illegally including icons from Windows XP and an image of the Windows XP start button, which is a copyright violation.

Hmm

Anyway to report GPL violations/copyright violations on SourceForge?

Actually

Actually, it works if you have the .NET 2.0 framework installed. And speaking of GPL violations, PortableApps is violating the GPL since they STILL haven't released the source code. At least the source to this app is out.

Nope and Nope

It crashes even with .NET 2.0 installed. Verified it on two sep machines. This app isn't violating the GPL, I don't think. But they are violating US and International copyright law by illegally including images copyrighted by Microsoft.

And the source for PAM has been out for a while. It's over here.

Well

Well, it's working for me. I've tested on 2 PCs and 2 flash drives. Oh well...
