Running local instance and portable Thunderbird parallel?

Hi,

I have following problem. The computer where I work has a local instance of Thunderbird already running. So it does work to start the portable version unless I close the local version. Since the local version contains my job mail, the portable my private one, this is not very comfortable. Is there a way to run both parallel?

It's right in the root directory of the app (ThunderbirdPortable). It links to the readme.txt with advanced options. You'll need an INI file. It's an advanced option and not really recommended for everyday use (could have side effects with the default client). Thunderbird is really designed to run as one instance at a time.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
