New PFF still uses old nssckbi.dll location

Hi Guys,

I tried to delete my old copy of PFF "\Portable Program Files\FireFox Portable", but the app\firefox\nssckbi.dll file was still in use.

This means that my PFF in the portable apps menu (which was migrated from to other location) is still referencing that file.

When I did manage to delete the entire directory, running PFF from the apps menu simply re-creates it in the old location.

This is really strange as I thought all locations would be relative to the location it is being executed from.

Does anybody know if this can be changed/edited or do I need to replace one of the PFF files to get it to use the correct relative path?

Thanks
Paul

Weird

Try opening up your new Data\settings\FirefoxPortableSettings.ini and see if it still has the old profile directory.
It shouldn't though.

Actually, try opening up Data\profile\compatibility.ini

Resolved?

Hi Ryan,

After successfully resizing my NTFS partition, I manage to "break" my PA drive in such a way that not even GPart or Unbuntu can recognise it Beee

Now working off my backup PA drive the problem does not seem to exist... I have used the drive on both machines that I normally use and started all the version of FF installed on them and the file has not made an appearance again.

On the one machine I did a search in the "/portableapps" and "/portable program files" and only found references to "Portable Program Files" in the install.log and prefs.js files.

Anyway, I will post again if I notice the error again.

Regards
Paul
