Main web page has lost its appeal

I miss the old days where I would frequently visit portableapps.com to see which new versions of apps had been released. Now, it's nothing but PortableApps Suite. The page is essentially static.

I understand John's reason for doing this - it was the excitement generated by the Popular Science article and other news about the new suite.

I hope that someday John will go back to the old format so we can follow app releases.

I have to agree. I used to

I have to agree. I used to pop by here every day, and much as it's still a great and extremely useful site, I only drop by once a week or so now.

John, could you update the home page? Please?

Updates Coming

Actually, there haven't been any official updates since the Suite release due to a number of factors (holiday slowness, having bronchitis for a month, my friend being injured). The right side that includes the PortableApps Suite announcement is where all the new app announcements will appear. One/two lines per app with a link to the full story. And, of course, there's the RSS feed which most people use.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
