Third, PortableApps.com will not make Foxit Reader portable because it's not open source, I know it's free but PA.com's guidelines state that it needs to be open source (at least for now).
Lastly, you can find it here. You need to download Foxit first and put the exe inside the FoxitPE\App\ folder.
Thank you.

Problems I found with foxit are that it writes to the registry and is quite large for a PA.
I made a Cool PDF launcher which I posted elsewhere on this forum but I Can post it again.
Its in PAF format so you can easily install it. You run CoolPDF Portable and if it cant find it on your device it will download it from the web site thus getting around the not allowed to distribute issue

Writes to the registry?...Pffft, ain't no big thang. Long as it runs without needing to install it anywhere, I'm happy
Quite large?... Three Mb and change I can live with. Think of the horror if you had to run the Adobe reader itSELF!

Why bother "making it portable" when it already *runs* fairly portably?...

Why bother "making it portable" when it already *runs* fairly portably?...

Because it's only "fairly" portable.
I'm the kind of person who likes to customize everything I can, and I know there's not much to customize on Foxit, but whatever little I can do, I want to carry it with me. I'm sure that the registry settings are just my preferences, but like I've said, I want to have them everywhere. (I think that otbsupport's version writes to the reg but then saves them back to the portable drive)

CoolPDF is also only about 600k, nice and tiny.
