I downloaded 245 portable applications. The Portable Apps platform only allows installation of one application at a time. There should be a batch file or option to install multiple applications one after the other. is there such a thing? What would I need to do to write a batch file that installs all of the applications put in an install folder?

You can install tons of apps at once via the platform's app store. You tick the boxes of the apps you want and the platform handles downloading them all and then installing them all. That's the primary way to install apps from this site.
If you manually download them individually, they can only be installed individually.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
